Our presence at LIFE Event 2023 in Urbino

The LIFE event (Labour Intensive Facility Event) took place for its eighth edition on December 14 and 15 in Urbino, hosted at the historical Palazzo Ducale. Organized by the Fondazione LIFE and promoted by Confindustria Servizi HCFS, who’s President is also EFCI’s President Lorenzo Mattioli, the event annually gathers key players in the Facility Management and Integrated Services sector.

At the heart of the LIFE event lies the significance of its name. LiFE doesn’t just mean “vita” (life) in Italian; it is an acronym for Labour Intensive Facility Event. Beyond its linguistic meaning, LiFE, with its emotional tone, carries a powerful promise: to restart from work and envision the individual and economic future of the country. LiFE is not merely a “fair,” not just a “conference,” but an “open space,” multifunctional and in progress. It is a dynamic platform where discussions, debates, and presentations of elements and solutions that characterize Facility services and Management unfold in an innovative, fast, and modern manner.

LiFE, in its seven previous editions, has transcended the conventional dimensions of fairs and conferences. It positions itself as a multifunctional moment and space, bringing together the vast world of economic operators engaged in the sector. It aims to aid the growth of a sense of belonging and foster the involvement of opinion leaders from various sectors (politics, media, culture, communication, university, etc.) in addressing the challenges of the sector.

This year’s theme, “Le persone al centro del nuovo umanesimo industriale” (“People at the center of the new industrial humanism”), aims to culminate in the creation of a manifesto outlining the sector’s future—the new Manifesto dei Servizi di Urbino. The event is marked by institutional greetings, table & speech sessions for industry discussions, and thematic focuses such as sustainable economy, labor-intensive work, innovation 5.0 and digital transformation, ecological transition, internationalization, market, and regulations.

Among the distinguished guests who attended the meeting in Urbino, the President of the Marche Region, Mr. Francesco Acquaroli; the Italian State Undersecretary for Economic Affairs, Ms. Lucia Albano; the President of the local chapter of Confindustria for the city of Urbino, Ms. Alessandra Baronciani. We invite you to read more about the event, watch the interviews to the main protagonists and read a copy of the “Manifesto di Urbino” (all in Italian) by visiting the following link: www.fondazione-life.it

In Urbino, amidst the enriching discussions at the LIFE event, we had the pleasure of meeting Robert Stelling from Interclean.

Looking ahead, we’re glad to announce that EFCI will be actively participating in one of the world’s largest international trade show for the cleaning industry, Interclean Amsterdam, organized by RAI Amsterdam. Rain Amsterdam provides a comprehensive industry overview and unparalleled insights into global developments. Top-level representatives, decision-makers, and industry professionals from major international cleaning manufacturers, distributors, and contractors converge at Interclean Amsterdam. As we anticipate the upcoming event in March, the collaboration between EFCI and Interclean promises to foster meaningful connections and contribute to the ongoing advancements within the cleaning industry. Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey together.
