EFCI Webinar: Corporate Social Responsibility Directive (CSRD) – From Policy to Practice

Join EFCI for an engaging webinar exploring how the Corporate Social Responsibility Directive (CSRD) is implemented in the cleaning and facility services sector. This session will combine a policy overview—highlighting key regulatory developments and industry priorities—with a practical perspective from a leading company sharing firsthand experience.

The webinar will open with remarks from Patricia Charrier-Izel, General Director of the Fédération des Entreprises de Propreté, d’Hygiène et Services Associés, as well as EFCI Board Member and Treasurer, who will welcome participants and introduce EFCI’s work.

Ines Rohmer, Policy Officer at DG FISMA, European Commission, will then provide an overview of the current regulatory framework, including recent developments and the Omnibus simplification, as well as their implications for service sectors such as cleaning and facility management, with a focus on SMEs and value chain reporting.

Stéphanie Delamarre, Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility – Sustainable Development at Samsic Group, will share a practical perspective, offering insights into how CSR strategies are implemented in practice within a major company.

After this, Véronique Vansteene, CSR and Ecological Transition Representative for Fare Propreté, will present the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME), illustrating its practical application through the example of the French federation (FEP) and highlighting how it supports smaller organisations in their sustainability reporting efforts.

The webinar will conclude with an interactive Q&A session, offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers and address their questions.
