The EFCI is the voice of the European cleaning and facility services industry in Europe.
We bring together 13 associations representing the industry at national level, representing 240,000 companies employing more than 3,6 million people.
EFCI’s core objectives are:
- To communicate the industry’s needs and priorities directly to the policy makers at the EU level, as well as in the European Social Dialogue.
- To promote the industry and enhance the sector’s competitiveness and image.
- To exchange information among EFCI’s members on issues which directly affect the interest of the cleaning and facility services industry and to facilitate capacity building.
- To coordinate views and opinion on issues of concern to the members and to organise and implement actions and projects of the members at European level (e.g. responsible procurement, promotion of services’ quality and of vocational training).
The EFCI is an international non-profit association and is recognized by the European Commission as a European sectoral social partner. It is the employer’s representative in the European Social Dialogue for Industrial Cleaning, where common projects are developed together with UNI-Europa.
