Social Affairs Committee
Mandate
The Social Affairs Committee is responsible for monitoring the European social policy, including vocational training. It ensures that the employers’ interests of the sector are taken into account and participates actively in the European Social Dialogue facing UNI-Europa.
Furthermore, it ensures the exchange of experiences and the dissemination of good practices between the members in this matter. Amongst others, it tackles the questions related to the takeover of personnel (directive on transfers of undertakings), the promotion of daytime cleaning and the promotion of vocational training of employees.
